OUR AMBITIONS
// Mission
We want to help you develop digital media competence within your whole company, beyond your marketing and media departments. The capability to use social media confidently and appropriately means added value for companies as well as employees, both on professional and personal levels. Our mission is to sharpen the digital understanding of your employees and help you avoid possible risks.

// Vision
Being able to differentiate between true information, fake news and disinformation campaigns keeps users on the safe side: with this competence, neither users‘ own reputation nor the one of their employers is at risk. A comprehensive social media competence significantly contributes to the development of both open AND evidence-based information society. A society in which every user is aware of how to avoid risks and take advantage of the opportunities.

The Vienna native has been active in Marketing & Communication in various functions for 15 years. The early adopter has been focusing on social media since early the 2000’s, a time when those were known as Web 2.0 tools. „Today, social media presence and exchange are important not only in the field of Marketing but also in many other business fields. That’s why social media competence is an asset both on private and professional levels!“ He believes that disinformation campaigns pose a challenge in terms of reputation management; on the other hand, social media users also have to deal with this issue: „Not only do today’s users consume information- they also produce and spread it.“ Apart from his commitment to promoting digital media awareness, Dietmar Pichler is the founder and head editor of stopovereurope.eu (a European media platform) and a board member of Vienna goes Europe (a non-partisan association).
